Silverplate over copper construction small Childs Mug has hammered ripple light reflective surface and is engraved across front "Gilbert" in Victorian script on an upward angle with lower underlined flourish. A fine mid 19th c red-brown grain paint finished Ladies' Side Chair to imitate more expensive mahogany, hand decorated with a twirling festoon of tiny flowers on crest rail and seat frame, centered by an oval caned inset backrest motif, and fitted with a vintage pure wool handworked deep celery needlepoint seat cover embellished with a cluster of beautiful pink and maroon American tea roses, all upon shapely turned and tapered legs. All original condition, New England origin.
18TH C BANNISTER BACK SIDE CHAIR
An untouched 18th c Bannister Back crown top, natural rush seated Side Chair of New England origin in native hardwood natural patina. Chair is of full height not ended out with lovely rounded "knees" at the seat front points and lightly turned side rails. This is the first important true American Colonial style of chair produced on our shores by immigrants from England settling in a new land circa 1720-40. A "must" for early tavern rooms and period decor.

18th Century authentic New England Brass Bedwarmer all original features pierced and floral scroll finely chased top pan cover on undamaged base with fine ferrule, copper rivets, and pull ring mounted onto a hard maple bulbous turned full length handle. Polished, with slight rippling on top pan surface from genuine use, and guaranteed more than 200 years old.
